3D printed lamp design

3D printed lamp shader designed using a voronoi pattern is enabling an  adjustable lamp design. The primary volume, adjusted to the size and shape of the light bulb can be further modeled to a desired shape. The voronoi pattern is then applied to the volume, where the sizes of the openings can be modified to decide where the light should be directed to.

The shader consists of two halves which enable a user-friendly experience when replacing the light bulb and enables easier production with 3D printing. The halves are connected by magnets on the sides.

Designed using Rhino + Grasshopper
